Anyone else think it was really refreshing to see Christina Kim on the golf course at the ladies open enjoying herself, smiling, laughing and still scoring well. I think she was an inspiration to any of our tantrum club throwing young golfers on how to have a good time on the golf course & she didn't even win!I thought it was great. :D

A total nutter but plenty of fun too. I bet she makes a great pro-am partner and its good to see someone not taking the game or themselves to seriously. There was a documentary about her on the defunct Golf Channel and she seemed totally outrageous off the course too with a real Jimmy Choo fetish

I watched the last few holes on Sunday and thought exactly the same, how refreshing it was to see someone with such a great personality. What I also liked, was when they both walked towards the 18th, and Christina clapping and smiling sincerely for the winner - a great sport!

Golfmmad.

*cough*

What do we call it when the club left her hands in a sort of downward type movement after she messed one up on the 15th or 16th or whatever it was ?

I agree that she was great fun, but in the name of balance, I think we ought to mention it, coz if it was Tiger, I'm sure it would get a mench.

Yeah but she did it with style, it wasn't petulant it was "Oh Bugger!" There's a big difference. When the ball stopped so did the outburst and the smile came back. Here's a girl who enjoys Golf and life.
I'll have to go on record here and say that she might have overtaken Di in my affections. Harsh on Ms Stewart I know but Christina's wonderful.

Aye really refreshing,I mean who else gets such good press while swearing, banging clubs in to the ground after a bad shot and shouting endlessly at the golf ball.......?! :D ;)

She was entertaining no arguing there but she did try to plant a club and did let a four letter sweary away up the 16th or 17th as she was dandering up from the teebox.

She is still a munter. A happy munter maybe.

I do like the speed she plays at though. Reminds me a bit of Cabrera, just getting on with it, good or bad.

Remember seeing the episode on Setanta Golf, went everywhere with her sister and bought a house for herself and parents, seemed a really down to earth person, and like you said Homer had a real passion for shoes! also remember watching Christie Kerr and Paula Creamer another two golfers that came across as fun, friendly and down to earth. Admitedly it wasn't the best channel in the world but give me that over Eastenders and Corrie any day
