Hi Chris,

Sorry to post in this way but I noticed your post in the Prov1 thread in the ask the experts section.

Can you remember the name of the shop you saw these balls in please as I'd love to get in touch with them and see if I can buy some mail order.

Thanks in advance

Graham

The new Penta TP3 is a very similar feel to the TP Black if you can't get hold of any!

Yup..I never played with the TP Black, however a mate did and when I gave him a TP3 to play with, he made the comparison. Really good ball to use the TP3

I still have 2 dozen TP blacks. Cracking ball. I was told by a TM rep that the TP3 is very similar although I did find it firmer than both the black and the TP red. Good ball though and definitely better than the Burner Tour I was using

Sorrry - just bumping up the list again. It's amazing how quickly the post ends up on page 3 :)

I'll give you a bump also. Why don't you just PM him??

Do you find TM balls cut up really quickly ? I had some Pentas recently, they looked like a dog had chewed them after 9 holes !!

Must admit I didn't try as I thought there would be a minimum number of posts before I could. I'll give it a go.

I tried the penta's last summer and they did cut up quickly plus I found they spun too much. I tend to drop and stop but they span back off the green a couple of times. I found some of the blacks in the bucket at our proshop, gave them a go and really liked them hence try to get hold of Chris.

I'll certainly try the new 3-piece Penta but if there's a chance that a shop still has some old stock (not lake balls) that'd be my first choice.

I just spoke to them and have got some being posted today. They're not cheap but out of all the balls I've tried I do prefer them.

Just as well I used the special "golf equipment" credit card that the wife doesn't know about

Thankyou for your help Chris.
