Chris Paisley's poor caddie

Strikes me he should be happy if he's still on the bag next time. Must be a worry for a caddy taking a week off that the replacement will do a better job.
 
I live in the same county as Stocksfield, where they live and where she would have been if she had not been on the bag. Now Stocksfield is a genuinely lovely village, some very nice houses but if the choice was Stocksfield in January, currently punishingly cold, actually anywhere in the UK in January, or a luxury golf resort in S. Africa in January I'd be grinning like a buffoon the whole week.

(good point made though and it is actually a really nice story, something we all need to see more of)
 
Calming influence of the wife? Nope, doesn't ring any bells. :blah:

My lovely wife comes out for a walk for nine holes a few times a month in the summer (she trys to do 12k steps a day and so it helps if she's been stuck at a desk) and just wandering around with her, having a chat and a laugh makes a difference to my game and I do feel more relaxed and do seem to play better. I did suggest she comes out on Saturday morning in the roll up but she used language quite unseemly for the (not so) gentle sex. I think it meant no
