Played Chorley gc for 1st time last week and what a stunning course.
If you look on their site or teeofftimes you can get on for around £20 which is a bargain..
The course is a parkland with lovely fairways and plenty of bunkers scattered up the fairways and around the greens.
The greens had been treated with like a sandy fertiliser but they ran true and quick, joy to play on.
Course aint the longest but there are few holes were you are playing blind to the green with your 2nd shot so bit luck needed when you dont know the course but dont let that put you off. Some avg length par 4's which play longer as they are slightly up hill, and then the 18th could be card wrecker, almost 200yrd par3 ,slightly uphill again with oob to the right which is also the visitors carpark,so choose wisely were you park:lol:..
Pro and members i spoke to where very friendly, and nice old hall as clubhouse with good beer:clap: and the food is well priced and you get good portions...
Will definately be returning for more
