Hi guys been looking into going away for a few nights to play golf with the old man for his 50th was wondering if any of you have any cheap places you would recommend as we don't want to be paying through the roof. As its our first golfing holiday just anywhere with sun will do ha
Thanks

if its just a few nights then spain is cheap just now
flights with ryanair or easy jet - dont take your clubs - hire them from here http://www.clubstohire.com/malaga.php
I've used them and they are good value and reliable (if you are only going for a few days then get the cheapest set)

Most of the courses are discounted just now - just not seeing the footfall to keep their prices high

we played Baviera in july and had the course to ourselves - there was literally nobody else out (it was 40 degrees mind!)
and it only cost 80 euros for 2 incl buggy booking online

loads of cheap places to stay!

go and rebuild the spanish economy! ;)

Went to the Benidorm area in May (cheap flights with Easyjet cheap accom everywhere ) and played some nice courses. One we enjoyed most was Don Cayo set in beautiful surroundings..very reasonably priced.Highly recommend booking through BENIDORM GOLF who can sort eveything out for you...........even very cheap club hire I now hear

I went here http://www.golfantequera.com/ in February this year. Value for money it would be hard to beat, 75 euro's per day to include half board at the 4* Antequera golf hotel, golf including buggies. We ended up paying 225 euro's for 3 1/2 rounds of golf and 3 nights in the hotel. It's an hours drive north of Malaga so you need to add car hire onto that plus flights.
