just going to order a new battery for my motocaddy (4 years old) will be my 3rd battery, am unsure if it is worth changing the charger as well, how can you tell if they are past there sell by date?

on my 3rd battery and still on the original charger. As long as the charger gets the light to change from red to green and the battery gets me round the course the following day then its still working for me 
Third battery in 4 years. Doesn't sound like they are much cop. I'd be thinking about changing my trolley by now for something more reliable

dont know,i play 18 holes three times a week, think that is about right for a 20 amp battery. prob nearer 2 and a half years each

depends what battery you get. if it's the same type (ie SLA, AGM or Gel) as the original then probably not; if it's a different type then it's probably a good idea. (the charging current is a bit different for each)
