so my lad has now got back into football proper, his potential pack it in due to injury is now been given the ok after a scan last week. he is also doing some badges to coach at local league level = doesnt want to join the golf club.

So I am gonna flog my callaways, the trouble is the ebay master isnt sure whether to sell as a complete set or individually. I can't be bothered with posting everything out here and there and pp/ebay fee's do my nut in but at the same time I could do with the cash so need to maximise any return. I will more than likely list on here 1st then the dreaded bayas a last resort

What would you price up as a set and individually? (I had a rough look on ebay but so many variations I dont want to underprice/overprice them)

Callaway Razr Hawk 10.5 degree RIP stiff shaft very good nick no sky marks (rare for me) inc headcover
Callaway razr hawk 3wood 15 degree with uprated stiff shaft which the fitter at Wentworth informed me is worth a bit on its own (will update the shaft later as still in my boot since Wentworth lol) slight dent on sole but everything else good condition inc 2 headcovers
Callaway Razr Tour No2 Hybrid 18 degree stock Stiff shaft inc sock style headcover
Callaway Razr Tour No3 hybrid 21 degree stock reg shaft inc sock style headcover
Callaway X Tour Forged 3 - pw DG S300 shafts good nick but some slight rusting at base of cavity (will try and clean these up) fitted with blue GP multi compounds
Callaway Jaws Wedges 50 & 56 degree cc grinds with nearly new red lamkin tour grips, these are the raw version so do rust

quality set of clubs tbh so dont want to just give them away.

thanks for any help in advance

List them separately to maximise return, but point out on each that it's part of a set - 'see my other listings'

Price them at the minimum you are prepared to let them go at.

Wait a week or so to find out if there's a free listing weekend?

price them as you paid for them, trusting you original judgement..........just clear them quickly (before a Mod comes along and suggests you should post this in the for sale section with photo's and prices) :)

yeah but not for sale yet Duncan as still not sure what prices (can;t remember what I paid aswell) or whether to sell as a set or even to just go straight on ebay as I reckon I might struggle on here to shift the lot.

decisions, decisions :)

List them @ 99p start and let the interest pick up with watchers. Then get someone you know to bid a price that you'd accept . If they are the outbid by someone - happy days - if not you do a 2nd chance offer to the next highest bidder.

I have several boxes in my office if you need them, also I wouldnt mind trying the X forged irons, if you could meet me at the Gravely driving range I can give you some boxes + try the irons.

i just get loads of computer boxes from work and DIY my own protective casing. ive bought enough stuff on ebay to have good interior packaging (bubble wrap, etc).

Wait for a free listing weekend, normally every few weeks.

sell as iron set and individual wedges and woods.

increase postage by a bit to cover that.

list it for 7 days so it finished around 7 on sunday (thats when everyone bids!) and dont be afraid to throw in a few shadow bids from friends accounts..... (frowned upon though)

It was free listing last weekend so will be couple of weeks until next one unless its an Easter special so gives you a week or two to get organised. Then start at what you paid for each part individually and see what the market decides, if you can wait until after masters weekend interest will be raised the sun out and potentially higher bids.

The Free listing on ebay saves you nothing, just a couple of quid - the killer is the Final Value Fees which are 10% plus 3.75% to Paypal and make sure you advertise them with special delivery postage. You might do better selling them on here as the FV fees knocks a lump out of the final price £350 becomes £300 !!!

Mine are already on ebay Gibbo! driver and hybrid separate, and set of irons. i have put collection preferred, but can nick boxes from work if i have to send them.. best way to maximise return, although the guy winning currently the irons is also winning the driver.. i started them very conservatively to attract interest, £60 driver, £50 hybrid and £100 irons..

Anyone want TM R11, #4 hybrid or Burner 2 irons, you know where i am! ;)

Stick the whole lot in to the local charity shop.

After all they are Callaways, only one step up from TaylorMades.......nobody is going to want them.

Try gum tree first it's free to post on while you wait for a free weekend on eBay. Worth a try.
