Cg7 or cg16 ???

Have you tried either? I realise that trying CG7's might be hard now with them being an older model but the CG16 are widely available.
They are both good IMO, I ocassionally play with two brothers one has CG7 and one CG16 and they each dislike the other's due to, what for me is, minor differences in feel and even a little more offset on the CG16.
I thought both played ok, they are no Mizunos but are decent enough.
Best to try them yourself though before you spend cash and may find you don't like them.

I can only give you my opinion of the CG 16's, i've got them about the start of this season in 'black pearl', stunning looking clubs, perform really well, strong lofts, highish ball flight. Apart from the black colour wearing off the soles (to be expected if you're hitting the turf with them) i've no complaints, in fact i really like the way they sit at address, very traditional looking, no thick top line to look down on, i'm currently playing off 6 and don't feel i need to change them. Price wise, what a deal AG are doing just now £279 with a 'free' wedge, i paid £399 for mine. I hope this helps.

What's wrong with the 32's?

Why does anyone buy things other than Godzunos? My 57s are a delight! Probably not what the OP is after though.

IMO it comes down to cost, the 16s probably offer the better option of the two. Choosing between brands is personal really, once a brand is chosen then its all about finding the best model. Do consider other brands if you like the styling.

Personally I will always buy Mizuno irons! Woods have not tempted me just yet...

What's wrong with the 32's?

Playing off 11 I think I should really be playing with cavity backs to help me out, because if I could shape the ball really well the I would keep them but as I'm only playing straight shots I may aswell get the extra forgiveness with easy to hit irons.
Don't get wrong I do love them but they just don't love me back ;) and if I had a spare £500+ then I would defferently get another set of mizunos, just not blades.

I'm off 11 and while I don't play full blades, I don't use full cavities either. The 53's are a good balance. But I get what you mean about cost. I was lucky, right place right time kinda thing.
The only problem I have with cavities is that you don't really get punished for a bad hit. I had TM TP CB's early in the year and found a green 163yrds away with what I know was a bad hit, so after 1 and a half rounds I sold them on. If the cavity is doing all the work in forgiving those bad hits, how will you get better? That's just my personal take and people called me mental for not wanting to get away with not hitting it properly, but that's just me I guess.
