We are a poor relation in Europe and the fact we have made it to league stage is a hell of an acheivment so we may as well get the likes of Real Madrid,Man City,Bayern Munich etc.

Cracking game last night and a great result for Celtic and Scottish football.Watched the first half and the last 10 mins on the telly, listened to the rest on the radio. The best bit was Liam MacLeod's commentary on Radio Scotland which was just great, really atmospheric.

Not the following year no. There is a lag of the next season plus one IIRC. Hence why Scotland got two CL places (one straight in and one qualifier) after a decent run a few years back, think there was 3 years of qualifying for group with two 3rd finishes and drop to the UEFA Cup and the other a last 16 berth, it wasn't until two seasons after that the changes caught up with this stupid co-efficient ranking.
Tough tough draw for Barcelona......

Im a Rangers fan and I think with a wee bit of luck they could qualify into the last 16 in that group if they get something from all the home games

Think Celtic might surprise a few people in this group, i think the points will be well shared out as all teams capable of winning any of the games and Celtic park never an easy night for any team as has been proved in the past.
