Celtic v Juventus

Or have the fat lad in charge of the team or Chuck constantly spouting what a huge worldwide club we are while struggling to punt the shares or.....I could go on and on.

Yep you (Celtic) could have gone on all night and never looked like scoring once.

Still well done.

I had a few pounds on 2-0 to the old Lady Juve. Looking good then they go and bung in a 3rd goal!

With be a good game though at the Stadio Delle Alpi though, the atmoshpere there is superb for the big games. I've been lucky enough to see a couple of games there and at other big italian, though nothing beats my family home team for me (on mums side)when La Viola play the home games at Stadio Artemi Franchi.

Just a shame for a Celtic fans persepctive the tie is over by the time they arrive in Turin, but its a nice city to visit so should still be fun for them.

Juve moved from the Del Alpi a few years back mate

And still the main topic of conversation for any self respecting Sellic fan is......Rangers

And we're off..................................

I think tomorrow by 1000 hours!

Place your bets please!

On another night we could have scored 2 or 3 but to be honest i think we used all our luck up in the group stages.Still last 16 in europe isn't too bad when you think of the teams who didn't qualify

Oh aye,and debt free:whoo:

What's the title of this thread????

And who mentioned The Rangers???? :D

To be fair I was merely gloating at the state of them.I have taken great delight in doing so since their demise, naturally.

They can but dream to aspire to holding evening like we have had this year.It must be nice to have a club in the same city to look at and aspire to match their greatness.......

I will take being put out the CL over The Ramsdens Cup anytime ;)

Was the new stadium not built on the grounds of the old stadium?

I think the current ground (not the stadia del alpi), may have been built on the old stadium (stadio communale) which was their old ground (pre 1990 ish).

The fans never liked the del alpi, and always wanted to go back. The new one only holds about 40,000, but going on when they played Chelsea, it is a lot more atmsopheric.

When I went with Liverpool, and even with the hate and atmosphere, it was still a soul-less bowl.

Im a Man Utd supporter.
However last night gave me a great buzz.
The atmospere was amazing, and i really wanted Celtic to win or at least give themselves
a chance in the 2nd leg.
Plenty of possesion and with a bit of luck,or better finishing could have grabbed a couple.
Sloppy defending and the tie is over.
As has been said by Lennon a great learning curve for a young squad, and manager.
Fingers crossed now Ronaldo has a mare:)
