Celtic v Juventus

I thought they were unlucky in the end. A very intense team performance let down by some schoolboy errors. 3-0 was not a fair reflection of the game. In fact the second goal was crucial, if Celtic had got it (and they looked more likely for a while) they might even have sneaked a 2-1 win. Major gaffe by the manager playing ambrose under the circumstances... But easy to say in hindsight.

Score line was a bit harsh on Celtic.
In the first half I thought they played some brave attractive football.
Seven shots on goal in the first 15 minutes.
Wanyamma must be the best young player in the UK at the moment, shame he does not have a Scots granny.

Marking at corners/set pieces......what the hell is all that about? Refs need to grow a backbone, grappling like that is not part of the game either way.I'd get locked up for doing that ootside a nightclub on a Saturday night for Christ sake.

I don't watch a lot of football any more but it happened to be on our TV last night and I couldn't believe what I was seeing at Celtic corners.
If an attacker did that to a defender it would be a free kick all day long. As you said, no backbone.

There must be a pressure point somewhere in the forearm/wrist/hand.
If I were manager I'd be seriously tempted to get someone to teach my players how to hurt a defender that put their arms around them like that.

Celtic went a bit too gung-ho in the last few mins which left the backdoor open for Juve to catch them on the break. A bit of a lesson in catenaccio but the conduct of the Juve defenders on set pieces was ridiculous, Celtic should have had a penalty when Hooper was man handled into the net.

just been told , Celtic fc are consulting with tesco and findus, as suspicions grow that their team may contain donkeys .Lennon is saying hehaw at the moment
