Been selected to play for the club in a friendly fixture away at Caversham Heath. The downside is it clashes with the monthly stableford. Has anyone played Caversham and what's it like and is it worth missing the chance to cut my handicap for?
I lived in Caversham for eight years, but unfortunately there was no golf course there at that time.![]()

Representing your club is a far greater reason to play than just chopping it round for your h/cap. If you don't want to play the club game stop putting your name forward for the matches and let someone else play for their club (someone who might appreciate the chance).
