Best of luck Chris - a very standard op now so you and the rest of your bionic bod will be back swinging in a few days
Cheers Paul - perhaps one day we need to take on a couple of able bodied players to teach a lesson!

All the best old timer. I imagine you should have no excitement for a few weeks, so perhaps go and watch a few Palace games
Does the op get you out of all the Xmas chores ? I would lay it on pretty thick if I was you. Perhaps just a bit of day time telly until the new year.
my dad had the OP after a detached retina op as well - was fine after a couple of days
Good luck and hope it goes well

Would love to team up with you to take on a couple of the other oldies on here Chris!![]()
Good luck! I am sure all will go well and the recovery will be speedy!
Good luck old chap does that mean your be giving me curtsy shots in our next match with all your improved body parts![]()
Thanks Simon.
Didn't you get shots last time we played and didn't bother to make use of my generosity?
LOL, I've not hit a golf ball in about 6 weeks, since Hayling Island. Ankle is not in a good way. Doctors still think it's Tendonitis, lt's of rest but hurts a bit just doing normal every day things.
So I still haven't had time to work on my last lesson. Surprised if I could even hit a ball at the moment![]()
I sincerely hope you sort it out soon, and then get back to the sort of golf we both know you are capable of Simon
Good to hear Grandad
No excuses now👍
Glad to hear it all went well, any surgery is always a worry.
Good to hear Chris. Which part of your body is next due for upgrading ?I'm happy to report that the cataract operation was done Monday at 6pm and by 10am Tuesday my vision was pretty darn good. I played 9 holes this morning and drove my car in daylight and after dark. My eye is absolutely back to what it was before the retinal detachment in April - my fingers are crossed that that's where surgery stops!
Many thanks for all your kind comments
