That's my selection of photographs from Castle Stuart, pretty similar to John's to be perfectly honest.

It's all been said already. It was an absolutely magnificent weekend.
Huge thanks from me to all at GM, John Findlay for arranging Nairn and Spey Valley and Smiffy for arranging Boat Of Garten.
Great to put faces to the names on the forum.
Superb!!
:D :D :D :D

Great photo Brendy -one for the scrapbook!

Although not overly difficult in the windless conditions we had, this little hole I thought one of the most memorable on the course. Visually it's a as nice a golf hole as I've played I believe. Would quite happily have stopped for a picnic at that point just to admire the view. :D

I cannily pulled an 8 iron onto the bump at the left and got a nice run down toward the flag for an easy par 3. :o

That hole and the first, the only two real disasters I had on my card. Tweaked it ever so slightly left and never found it.
CS is probably one of the few courses I would actually consider relocating for! :)

It's been said already by all the previous posters, but it would be remiss not to add my own thanks and congratulations to all who had input to the organisation of a trip that will live long in the memory.

Four different courses in four days with each played under different weather conditions - what a fantastic introduction to links golf!

Special thanks to John Findlay, Smiffy and the Golf Monthly staff for their input; Alan, Steve and Ryan under testing conditions at Spey Valley; Fergus (man he hits the bloody thing!), John and Simon at Castle Stuart; Steve and Stuart at Nairn; Patrick, Anthony and Rob at Boat of Garten; and all of the Clarks Bar crew throughout the weekend all of whom contributed to the memories.

In summary; the best golfing experience imaginable played with cracking company, too much beer and not enough sleep :) I wanna go back!!!!

And of course the 'Road Trip' crew of Dave (Vig), Anthony (Forforetheday), Chris 'min'(Grumpyjock), Smiffy, Ray and Steve - cheers guys!

Just like to say thanks to GM and John Findlay for doing all the organising.

Dave,Phil and Chris thanks for the company and putting up with my drunken ramblings.

Thanks to everybody I met and played with (Dodger,Tommo,Kenny,Ray,Ray (not a typo both at Nairn),Tommy,Patrick,Smiffy).

Had without a doubt one of the best times of my life such great company, great courses and memories that will lats forever.

Once again thank you to everybody I met played golf with and apologies if I've missed anyone out I'm just a touch washed out today :D

PS I am retiring to a little cottage next to Castle Stuart and bunking on every night

PPS any one got any Bombay Potatoes for Smiffy?

Not that one at 15 you oh so nearly twated twice by any chance? If so put me down for a weekend! ;)

Still think your idea of locking ourselves in the lockers and playing at daybreak Sunday morning before any staff arrived was the best plan!
