As the title states I can't hit my driver or 3 wood for love nor money. Im currently using a 4 iron off the tee for every hole, as you can imagine it makes par 5 difficult.

When hitting driver or 3 wood the shot tends to be a slice. I feel I am relaxed and have no tension and im not trying to smash it as hard as I can.

Tried a few fixes and still nothing.

Anyone got any advice?

This is what helped me get more consistent with my driver and 3 wood.

1. At address, drop the right shoulder beneath the line of the left shoulder.
2. On the downswing, feel like you are driving your right shoulder under your left armpit.
3. Have a stronger grip.
4. At address, splay out the left foot slightly (if you are right handed).
5. Not have such a wide stance.

All of the above helped me out no end. However, you would be better off having a lesson so your pro cant see exactly what is going wrong and what you are doing right.

what's the general shot directional pattern of the 4i and also the short irons & PW?

what kinda fixes you tried?

not knowing anything other than the long stuff slices my initial take would be that the issues could be to some extent influenced by stuff that's happening at set-up with posture, body alignments and ball position

could also be something goin down that's a tad funky with the hold on the handle that's playing into it
