Can you tell?

Hapless 'too p£%^&d to know what's what any more, or to give a ....' hacker!!!!

:D :D :D

AW, you at Blackmoor? I must make more of an effort to get to know folks from here at meets!

Unfortunately I'm not at Blackmoor.

I'm a stay at home Dad now so if I want a day off to play golf then the Wife needs to take a day off and she's told me that she's not taking anymore days off this year for my golf. That's nice, isn't it!!

Also, money's tight as a result of me being at home now....

I love the forum meets - they're such a laugh so I hope to be back in the not too distant future.

I'll leave the kids at home. They'll be fine. I'll wrap them both in cotton wool and leave them with a tin of tuna and a can opener. They'll cut themselves to start with but they'll quickly learn.

Before anyone starts, I'll leave CBeebies on for them....

So. It turns out AW and I have more in common than I realised.

How many other 'house husbands' are there on here? Either working from home or not?

Must admit, I felt quite 'alone', but talking with others, it turns out I'm not.

All the kiddy day groups are aimed at women!! It not as if any of them are fit either!! I'll just have to lower my standards!!!!

I've not come across many house husbands to be honest but I do go to a few play groups. The women have been very friendly and welcoming which I appreciate very much.

I agree about the looks - I've seen the 'organic' mums - long, straggly grey hair, crocs and a dress sense best described as 'charity shop'.

I've seen the 'mutton' mums. They still think they've got 'it'. Blonde hair, fake tan, nails done, enough make up to cover the entire cast of Eastenders. You can't polish a turd, love!!

The 'wobbly bottoms'. They turn up at the school gates wearing their 'legs, bums and tums' gear. Too much lycra, not enough give. I hear them moaning that no matter how much they work out, they can never shift the weight. It's probably the dozen crispy creme donuts you put away a day, hun!!

Last week, my daughter had a disco at her school. She was really excited about getting dressed up - as she should. When I went to pick her up, I couldn't believe my eyes!! One of the Mums had six inch heels on, shiny leggings and her knockers hanging out!! It was a disco for under 11s!! Why, oh why, would you go to a disco dressed in such a way?? It was too funny.

I love being a stay at home Dad. In the four months I've been doing it, I've felt more rewarded, more satisfied, more relaxed, more balanced and happier than at any time in the last twenty years.
