Can anyone recommend a golf coach in the South Essex/East London area?

Hi,

It's also my first post after lurking for a while so its nice to be on board

I'm looking for a new golf coach, just someone who is easy to get along with and a good teacher from the ground up (I am a beginner)

I did have a good instructor but he was always trying to sell me something so it's put me off a bit. There are a lot of coaches in this area but I would like to go with someone who is recommended and a sound bloke.

Any help is appreciated.

Lee Porter at Hylands Golf Complex is fantastic! Yes he fits but in no way is he selling! I had 3 hour long session absolutely free for my driver fitting, yes I bought a club from him but his price was exactly the same as the golf stores and online.

I'm going back this year for more clubs and short game sessions...

I've had a couple of lessons with Bradley Preston at Woolston Manor/Top Golf. Really sound bloke and I like his teaching style, never tried to sell me anything. Actually booked him as he had a deal on Groupon, so really good value for money too.

Yes, played there a few times. Nice course, but I always score abysmally! Avoid it after a prolonged period of rain (haha), as it does get quite wet there.
