Hi,
I was given these golf clubs recently but haven't been able to find anything about their history, who made them or any possible value or lack thereof.
The smaller of the two with the 'H' stamp has a partially ledgible signature ...
Can anybody please help?
Thank you.

Hard to say without seeing more of them but they all look like putters.

The H in a circle is the mark of JB Halley of London, although they were a retailer and the club might have been made in Scotland.

The Auchterlonie family included several respected makers based in the St Andrews area. Yours looks to be D&W Auchterlonie, David & Willie.

Value wise depends on condition but hickory putters are fairly common and you might get a tenner each on ebay.

The clubs in the article referred to by ruff-driver aren't putters and are smooth faced so earlier than the usually found hickory clubs.
They also have the pipe cleek mark of Tom Stewart who was was one of the better (and hence most most collected) iron forgers and, therefore, they command a higher price.

Hickory prices have dropped slightly since this article was written and this is also an American site so prices are higher than UK.
