Have just been watching highlights from the weekends golf as i was working all weekend ,and have had to laugh at Ian Poulter losing the plot the guy is an absolute blame dodger ,trying to blame the camera man for the shot he hit in the water , dry your eyes man and get on with it.

Even worse is to follow in his post match interview he spits his dummy right out saying i'm not coming back next year , ah the poor wee lamb , get on with it man and stop being a tube.

Personally i'm not a great fan but the guy does have some game, anybody who can play the way he did in the Ryder Cup after the stick he got was superb.
Anyway hopefully he can eat humble pie and go back next year to what is one of the biggest comps on the European Tour.

The bloke was an idiot for everything he said. I do try and like the guy as he is a breath of fresh air but everytime I think he's ok he opens his mouth only to forget to engage the brain first.

I think he did take it over the top. However I can see what he means. This is his job and he is playing for a lot of money, therefore he has the right to get annoyed at an inconsiderate cameraman.

I was talking about this to vig earlier, when it happened I rewound the footage to see where said "cameraman" was. On watching the footage over & over there is absolutely nobody at all in his line of sight within 100yds. So quite where he got a cameraman stood at 25yds from is anyones guess!!

He was just looking for a scapegoat to take the blame for his crappy shot.

As i said KeefG he's a blame dodger ,as Homer said he does'nt think before he open his mouth a bit like Monty at times.
Think he would get on better if he payed more attention to his golf than trying to be a "kiddy on superstar".

The guy does have great ability no doubts but always seem to falter when it matters.

Firstly, it wasn't a bad shot. If it had been a foot left, it would have stayed on the green.

Secondly, these guys play in front of the camera's every week. If he can't shut it out when pplaying, he is in the wrong game. I accept that if a flash bulb had gone off into his eyes, that would be a problem but not the click of a camera lens

And like I said in another thread, if a Pro Golfer is focussing enough on the shot in hand, he's not going to hear a camera shutter from 25 yards away!

If he can hear it then he's not concentrating enough. What's he going to blame next? A Jumbo Jet going over?

Funny, I manage to play with tractors driving past me, horses neighing extremely loud about 30yds from me, my partners having a quiet conversation only a matter of paces from me, thunder going off right above me and the noise of a motorway and it has never, ever, ever once afected me.

The horse that neighed about 30yds away actually did so on my downswing, and I still hit the ball sweet.

He's an arse and should just come clean and admit he's looking for a scapegoat.

I dont think he will be there. I reckon he will be looking for a trip to Tigers AT & T tourny the same weekend.

Keef I really have to disagree its harder for the pros to get in to the zone and stay there with the get in the hole brigade and the lot of fans shouting screaming and the camera men it is much harder for them than us mere mortals.

Did anyone see Tigers win at the AT &T. 16th hole 20ft put. Stood over it ready to go when a steward shouts quiet please.
Tiger stands off the ball, gives a disgusted look, gets back into his routine and drains the put in for the title winning birdie.
Now thats class.Tarts clothes and hissy fits belong in the WGA.
