I am considering buying a drone ,ideally with camera/ video functions . Can anybody recommend any models , i dont want to spend a fortune as this is not something i am in to , but would like to try , if i did buy one i would not want it to be so basic that it would need updating if i did get into it , how much should i expect to pay and are they difficult to operate and photograph with ?
many thanks

Flew one last year that cost over £10k, and had a smaller version of gimbal mounted camera that you see on a Police copter.

Equally, I got one for less than £100 that produces pretty good pics. Battery life is poor on the cheap one though.

i have a DJI Phantom 3 Standard, i love it.

I wanted to have one to fly around and have good quality video. It goes a really good distance and is easy to fly. I flew it over cheddar gorge at the weekend.

I'm sure my Brother, (RLBurnside) wont mind me putting this up.

Google: "Three guys 2 days 1 drone in Mallaig".

Some fantastic scenery of the Highlands and well worth watching.

He might come on and give you some more detail of the drone etc.
