That recommendation is good enough for me....maybe. I don’t like using lift if I don’t have to though. I’ll give it a go, but it looks a bit unwieldy on ‘dry’ land

I prefer it on a grassy lie when the ball is sitting up but I've done ok from a bare lie too

Yes it’s great for that, I use mine all around the green for high chips to tights pin positions. Works great out of the rough as well, seems to chop through it nicely which is a bonus.
