Hello, looking to buy a new set of irons + hybride. Seen a deal for the Callaway X Hot irons but see that they were first released on 2012. Should I look for something more recent, maybe the Callaway Rogue?

I think the original ones came out in 2012 but if you are looking at new sets, then I believe this is the latest incarnation.

As Robster touches upon (I think) - the original X Hot may have come out in 2012, but they are still making brand new clubs under that name. For example this package set: https://www.clubhousegolf.co.uk/acatalog/Callaway-X-HOT-11-Piece-Golf-Package-Set.html That's not likely to be a 9-year-old set they're flogging. So it depends what X Hot you're looking at really.

I have X2 hot irons. My Pro says they would be hard to beat.

If you are going second hand, and I may sound like a broken record but start with Golfbidder and then see if you can find the model you want cheaper

Newer or older is really just different cosmetics, so if cosmetics matter to you, then go for which ever catches your eye. In terms of being better or not for your golf, there is no difference between them. The only clear correlation for release year, is with price.

Just picked up a X Hot hybride 4, was on offer at 99€
Should get it monday / tuesday, if i get on with it will order the irons as well

I have the x hot 2 irons and they have served me well. The SW is crap so I wouldn’t bother with that But haven’t hit any of the woods.
