Good looking clubs , the 10 & 11 irons instead of pitching and gap wedge is an interesting new thing. Obviously means no difference to actual club just something a bit unusual

I didn't notice that. I think that is far more sensible than calling it a pitching wedge when it's identical to the irons and likely around 42° - a 'wedge' in name only. I have a PW & AW in my set, but I don't think of them as wedges at all.

Apex irons aren't as strong lofted as many other modern irons.
These are the Apex CB irons.

I suppose calling a 50° an 11 iron is a little bit weird, but then again, if it's part of your iron set why not? As I said above, I only think of my specialist wedges as actual wedges, so this makes sense to me.
When someone asks "what did you hit there?" and you had used your pitching wedge, what do you tell them?

They also appear to have updated the Utility Wood.

I had one of these when they first came out but couldn't get on with the feel....more of a dull thwack rather than the springy ting that I get from my 2016 Apex hybrids....would love to add the UW back into the bag if it feels more "lively".

These aren't the run of the mill ordinary golfer irons...
These are for seriously good ball strikers..
The equivalent of the CF19 etc will, I suspect, be along soon.
They will be stronger lofted...

Yep...I've come to that conclusion over the last hour or so. Pity really....I love the look of the new CB.

Not sure about a CF19/21 replacement myself....I suspect they expect the Paradym irons to fulfil that brief (though I would be happy to be wrong)

If you don’t think of them as wedges what are they then 🤷‍♂️

Surely the clue is in the name
