Does anyone know a good store, either online, or in the South-East where you can buy individual components for golf clubs?

I want to reshaft a driver, and I have someone who is willing to teach me how to do this and let me use their workshop, but I need to source the shaft my self.

Any ideas?

I have had the same idea but have not been able to find the shafts I am interested in.
This is not a cheap option unless you find a shaft which has been pulled from another club.

Thanks, that gamola place looks interesting, and the prices aren't bad too.

I realise its not cheap, I'm doing it to get the exact spec I want, rather than to save money. Also its cool to have something you've done for yourself, and it will be an interesting\useful skill\hobby to learn about building clubs.

if you're going to mail order you might be better going to the US. my mate does this and really gets some good deals, especially with the way the $ has been

Thanks for all the advice.

Could do the US route. I've bought a lot of stuff from golfsmith before, and they do lots of various components, and also tools for club building. I'm originally from Michigan anyway, so I have plenty of friends and family I can ship the stuff to, and then I can either collect next time I am there or they are here, or get them to post it on at a better rate and not marked as new, so avoiding import duty! :-D

If I do do it, I'll post a thread with my masterpiece\disaster (I'll edit accordingly later!).
