bushnell v4 problem

i have the v4 slope and from around 110 yards in the device doesn't seem constant. I'll lazer a pin and get the "jolt lock on" vibration and it'll read say 78 yards. if i read the yardage again and again it'll read 79, 81,74,77,77,78,72,81,


anyone else had any issues?
