Bunkered offer

bla bla bla played the kintyre (old Arran) loads and its a good course. havent played any st andies courses though.

Its a terrible creation and its not the old Arran. The old Arran was a superb track. It was narrow and gorse lined. A fabulous track that they changed because it was too hard and yanks were moaning about losing too many balls. The Kintyre has a few decent holes but over all its not a patch on what it replaced. That is fact.

Just answer the question, when did you last play it.......

Bigslice I am free anytime to play it, great track and has had a lot of work done on it over the last few years

February 2011. It was an absolute bog. Wouldn't go back at that time of year.

i will agree its not a patch on the old arran but for me its a bit more than the condition of the course. its happy memories of me learning to play golf, one day at Royal Kinharvie (defo in the bottom 5 worst courses in ayrshire) and the next on the Arran and once i got better on the Ailsa. (one of the best in Ayrshire, and World famous).

Yet another bad day for "The Craw" how many balls did you lose.......

You really need to get out more.

A bad day? Bad drainage, very bad drainage, saturated. Won't be back. Decent lay out, decent greens but until they sort out the rest I won't be back,

FACT.

Going to take up the offer as well to use when over next year.

Other than the Roxburghe which two of the other courses would you guys recommend?

When I'm over I'm either staying in the Coldstream area or Dunfermline and don't want to be travelling too far.

I just signed up for this too,I went for Spey Valley,Machrihanish Dunes, and The Roxburghe. It looks like I will need some spare balls!

Yes you do need to pick the courses so if you are going as a fourball you need to be organised.
We are doing Roxborough, Cardona [Peebles], and the one at Perth.

Of the South Ayrshire courses Belleisle is much improved in quality recently, a good Braid course, best of the bunch, followed by Lochgreen [summer] and Darley [winter].

Good little Borders weekend for the Northern English with Roxy and Cardonna. Cardonna is Macdonalds hotels owned, nice place.

We have done the last two years of the Bunkered offer. Played Kintyre twice, Dukes and St Kittocks. Brilliant deal.
