Just got back from the course where my motocaddy s3 broke towards the end (15) hole.

i set if off 20'yards down the fairway and all of a sudden it was in a heap. The connector/locking mechanism has separated and it's literally the bag keeping it semi upright.

As soon as I took the bag off it split in two with internal springs showing and no way to lock it back up.

Lucikly i I remembered where I bought it from (august 16) and have a copy of my online order. So will contact motocaddy in morning.

Anyone had similar problem/problems claiming under warranty with them?

You have a 2 year warranty and used it when the join in my S7 remote trolley was very loose. I took it to an authorised agent who repaired it under warranty. I have also sent a trolley back to motocaddy to be fixed, however you need the original box to send back. They organise the courier to collect and return.

Surely the place you bought it from should be your first port of call? Let them deal with Motocaddy. Don't worry about not having the original packaging, they can't use that as an excuse not to fix your trolley.

From what I've read online. All repairs end up going through motocaddy. So I'll likely get palmed back to them. But I will be contacting golfonline tomorrow morning.

They are generally very good with customer service - I remember when mine was in warranty and it broke - the went through a diagnostic on the phone and then arranged for it to be collected and it was return fixed good as new. 7 years on going strong except for a new axle - but it has done 1100 miles!

Think it was more my paranoia tbh.

called them this morning. Gave me details of a repair agent 30 mins away. Take it to them to be fixed. Simply show the guy a copy of my receipt and it's down free under warranty.
