Bring on Friday

So Friday I am playing my first early morning round for years. May seem strange but there is something about playing early morning that i love. We normally play around 12 on a Sunday.

Its also my stag weekend but we are fitting in 18 at Panshanger before we head off to Brighton.

Last played on Sunday hitting a 99 which I am fairly happy with as recently been hitting low 100's. Need to keep in the 90's regularly. Averaged 2 put each hole which was quite pleased with too. Dont have a HC yet as not a member.

i am playing 9am on friday too! cant wait! right old mix of one mate who has just started playing who is well and truly a 28hc'r and then my neighbour who is a pro... hmmm could be interesting.

Nice new driver sitting there beggin to be hit, and its not going near the course. i think this is a crimanal offense,

Well Friday's round went ok. Finished on 101 didnt have a great round be honest think I was too excited about the weeked. However did hit 2 fantastic shots that have stayed in my memory. Was having a shocking first 6 holes. 7 hole par 5 3rd shot short of the green straight in the bunker. Hit a lovely shot out of the bunker 2 bounces then in the hole for a Birdie. Was really chuffed. Later on in the round on the 13th Hit a lovelly pitching wedge from around 75 yards landed about 6 inches from the hole a little back spin and finished about 10 inches from the hole.

Can you tell from how happy I am about those shot that I am pretty average!

Anyway the stag weekend in Brighton was amazing, still feeling rough now!
