Why does Brian Davis not get the credit he deserves over here? With 2 x 5th places already this season, and now a second in the USA, as well as a strong showing in the Open a couple of years ago, I would have thought he deserved far more publicity.

Similarly I'd say Luke Donald hasn't had the recognition he deserves as he has had most of his success in the US. He was in the top 10 for quite a while but did it via the US tour rather than the European.

I think our press generally don't recognise success of those plying their trade in the states. Look at Indy car drivers like Franchitti, he is one of the best and rarely gets any coverage.
