Sad to hear that Brian Cant has passed away aged 83.
Childhood icon as presenter of Playschool and the voices of Camberwick Green, Trumpton, and Chigley .

One of the worlds nice people

loved his voice, and his enthusiasm was second to none when it came to story telling and narration .a huge part of my childhood. he was a legend and probably never knew it.
RIP Brian.

A tribute today was played at the bandstand in the park by the Trumpton Fire Brigade. Amongst those attending were Pugh, Pugh, Barney McGrew, Cuthbert, Dibble and Grubb.

Always thought there was something going on between Mrs Honeyman and Mickey Murphy , the master baker,
And as for Windy Miller:)

When Camberwick Green was on we all had to guess which character was going to emerge from the musical box

Happy days

That got spoiled when Life on Mars did their brilliant version with Sam Tyler emerging and them showing a clip of a plasticine Gene Hunt "beating up a nonce" - absolute classic.
