Breaches of Etiquette

Judging by some of the comments in New Rules threads I think a lot of players have failed to realise that the Guidelines on Etiquette are no longer in rules.

The is one 'all embracing' section on Code of Conduct but a club has to set up it's own code of conduct rules if it wants to be more specific.

Play golf in good spirit with respect for others and you won't have any problems, also it helps if you play golf with others who play in the same fashion whether you play ready golf, putt with the flag in or whatever. Everybody is different, i play golf in order of best score on previous hole tees first and wouldn't putt with the flag in. That's me and how I see it, i know some who don't Mark balls on the green unless it's in the way of a putt, i ask them to mark it if in my eyeline, just have respect for others
