So, in the recent weather i lost the elastic thingy that holds anumbrella into teh umbrellay holder of my Sun Mountain Micro cart at some point this weekend (which i only realised when it started raining on Sunday).

looked on the sun mountain uk website on Tuesday evening, emailed them and asked if the elastic thingy was available as a spare part.

Got in from work today, and in first class post, was not only the elastic thingy but a new holder as well ! Presumably they come as a pair, and really good customer service to just send it out, so quickly and no charge.

ooo - i lost my elastic thingie last year - never thought of ordering a new one! altho - my brake keeps going a bit funny, so if i do put the brolly up, the whole thing takes off in the wind!

finally got round to emailing them about my elastic thingie the other night - and it arrived in the post today - yipeeee for sun mountain

Without wishing to hijack but on a similar note I lost my head cover to my new odyssey putter. Quick line to Callly HQ at Chessington and new one in the post two days later. Great to see customers being looked after across the board

one of my bolts has gone - but i cant identify it from the parts pdf on the website - i might leave it a few weeks and ask for that too

I think Clive at Sun Mountain is brilliant....i had a saga with a golf bag just before I went to Dubai and he sorted it out in a morning. Simply the best....will always go to SM before anywhere else!
