If people are going to rank something, beach, golf course etc then it has to have credibility. It's great that people enjoy Bournemouth beach, any beach, but ranking it near the top in the world 🤔🤣🤣🤔

the thread isn’t about scotchland or some lay-by off the A1. Why start banging on about the beaches at stoneybridge or Biker? If tashy was shivering with his Mack on eating a bag of chips and drinking buckfast through a straw then it’s maybe relevant, but other wise it’s parochial chippy nonsense. I hear the beaches near Fukushima are amazing🤣🤣🤣

No, have a look on Google maps. It is continuous beach from Hengistbury head in the east right down to Sandbanks in the west.

What do you think 'Bourne' actually mean? So Bourne Mouth (or Bourne End) is fine, but calling it the Bourne River or River Bourne.....
