Bournemouth.

Not the bit by the centre, surely not. It didn't look long at all. It may be 11 miles but that is with breaks in, must be 🤔.

Top 20 beaches in the world? They can't have seen many. I can give you plenty in Northumberland, Anglesey, North Wales that make a mockery of Bournemouth.

LT, don't take this the wrong way, but you are talking shite...

Well am back and can honestly say, had a fantastic time. Had a lovely drive around Wareham and Studland.called into Stonehenge and Oxford on the way back. First time to both. Will deffo be spending a weekend in Oxford. It looks gorgeous. Been a good weekend 😁👍😉

Got to say that having seen beaches in both Bournemouth and Northumberland. There's bugger all between them. Except Bournemouth is a good bit warmer, apart from this I thought Swanage just looked gorgeous. What I will say is re Northumberland beaches. I am glad there's not mile and miles of arcades, mobile homes etc etc along them the rustic wild charm is still there.

Love Swanage. Went three times last year. Great beaches nearby, and good food and pubs in the town. Great place to relax, and only a two hour drive for me.

Told Missis T to get lookng on secret escapes etc. Don't mind places like Bournemouth but if your not in the right place I can be a royal PITA to find a decent pub. Which we did as it happens.

If you go to Swanage can recommend some nice B and B’s. MikeJohnChapman is a local, and can recommend restaurants, pubs etc.

Will be in touch when Missis T fancies a run down south 😁👍

Only because of the nudist beach;)

Loads of fat blokes waddling about, no thanks. I was thinking of the walk to Corfe, and then Corfe to Swanage along the ridge, back to Old Harry, and back to the chain ferry.
To be fair, I have no interest in being there in the season, I would be looking at renting it out. I love being there off season. Wander down to the Jazz Cafe, chat to our friends staffing The Sandbanks Hotel, nip over to Studland, lovely. Breakfast at Brankscombe at the cafe on the beach is a good early morning stroll.
