Think Bayern are a good side. Top of the Bundesliga for a reason but the Dortmund performances in the CL have just had me thinking it is their year. I have a mate who is a Fulham fan but Dortmund are his second side and he's been over and he's said the standing areas are something else. If they have them and no aggro or problems why can't we. He reckons they are young and hungry and are being run brilliantly off the pitch

Sorry but Dortmund has a dreadful record of Neo-Nazi fan violence, which appears to be on the increase. Last October there were nearly 200 arrests in the derby with Schalke. It is about the worst part of Germany for racism and violence and being in the industrial Ruhr area has a large immigrant population. Plenty of aggro and problems from what I hear.

No idea. Certainly better than they are now. 8-1 to the krauts over the 2 games who would have thought that

Dortmund's support is superb, they get the biggest average crowd attendances in Europe regularly getting over 80,00 per match, those ticket prices sound superb and is probably reflected in the attendances. I do like their side they have a lot of good players and have a great chance of reaching the final however I think this is Bayern's year, they're 20 points clear at the top of the Bundesliga for a reason, they are an absolute machine.

Next year they'll be even better, they've already bought one of Dortmund's best players Mario Gotze for 32 million and with Guardiola coming in I see them becoming a dominating force in Europe over the next few years.

it also puts into perspective just how good Arsenal's performance was to beat Bayern 2-0 away from home! and thats coming from a Man Utd fan!

bayern is a very controversial club, complacent and arrogant. their policy to buy the best players away from possible rivals - now götze, last year neuer, gomez, ballack, etc. etc. - does not increase their degree of esteem. dortmund is a very popular and likeable club unless you are schalke supporter

The supporters of premier league clubs look with envy (standing, beer, cheap prices etc), the premier league clubs pocket their cheques from sky and their laundered money from who knows where and just don't give one.

BVB South Stand standing ticket for other than top games costs €15. EPL clubs would think it a joke, as demeaning to their EPL status, to even consider charging that little for their premium product.

Very true but they find other players to bring thru the ranks and invest there money brought in from transfers well.

Only a few years ago this club nearly went to the wall they were that badly run,unthinkable to be honest considering the crowds they get,now there on a even keel and this season have been a breath of fresh air to watch
