I havnt got sky so last night i settled down to watch the bbc highlights,i watch Donald duff a little chip and then fell asleep and woke up when it finished.
Why the f@@k do they put it on so late :mad:
 
Just got back in after spending the day at Wentworth. Followed Poulter, Casey, Els, Jiminez for a bit then picked up Luke and G Mac for quite a while, then moved on to Rory, Darren and Manassero. Also saw a bit of Lee W.

Conditions were really good but for some reason no one seemed to be able to get anything going. No one really getting near the pins and lots of putts missed. Luke hit a peach into the 4th to about 3 and 1/2 feet, but didn't hole the putt.

Hard to say why none of the big names shot low scores. No wind to speak of but the pins did seem to be in some tricky positions. I think there were only about a dozen rounds in the 60's.

Best shot Luke's approach to the 4th (see above).

Best moment of the day - Poulter exclaiming "I hate golf" (well that's what I thought he said) after missing a short putt for par!

Best 3 ball - Rory, Darren and Manassero, clearly really enjoying each other's company. Like watching a dad playing with his 2 sons.

Star of the day - the course. Such a beautiful place to play golf. It looked stunning. I liked the changes especially the new bunkering.
 
I don't like the new layout. I think the 18th in particular has been ruined now and the course seems designed to trip players up rather than reward good shots.

The said after last year that they were going to make the 'risk/reward ratio' on the 18th fairer.

I think they have failed in that one at least.

I don't get these negative comments about the course.
Luke Donald shot a 64 yesterday in what was considered to be tough conditions. They're professional golfers and should be able to cope with the changes.

I'm going tomorrow, hope the rain keeps away. :eek:

Haven't watched any of it today, anyone know if Peter Hanson made the cut? Loved his colourful language last year! :cool:

I'm going on Sunday...taking HID and our 8 year old girl.
Looking forward to it but will be missing Huddersfield in the Div 1 playoff final.
Anyone know if you can take iPads into the course?
