Well from the weather forecast it looks like our course will thaw out just in time for it to snow again, just bloody perfect  :(. I'm definately moving abroad when I retire (not for a long time yet though).

Managed to get 18 in today but it was frosty and foggy this morning. You had to wait for the guys to shout back from down the fairway on the first tee before you could tee off. Sadly i think that may be it now until at least Christmas. Off in between crimbo and new year so hoping to get some rounds in then if the weather is kind.

The threat of snow for Friday but otherwise just bloody cold. Frost means we'll be on temps all week and probably for the stableford next Saturday.

You poor thing! Having to put up with temp greens et al. We're still under 6" of snow and ice up here. :(

Snow has just gone, mildish weather until mid week then back to negative tempratures then snow Friday night and Saturday morning. Lookng like no golf until new year

I've packed in till 2011 now. Greens were frozen solid on friday and it was -5 when I went out at 7.30 this morning. It's going to stay cold, plenty of frosty nights and snow thursday into friday. After that I'm away till New Year so that's that.

The snow has gone in and around Inverness. Got a phone call from a mate on Saturday morning who’s a member at Fortrose & Rosemarkie asking if I would like a game. They were having a competition on Sunday and he wanted a practice. Course was even on summer greens. It was a lovely day, just played in a roll neck and a jumper, must have been 10 deg :D
