I have to say I've been keenly following the projectscratch blog and really enjoyed it to date. Its inspired me to do my own. Before you all groan (I can hear the collective sighs already) its also serving a self indulgent purpose to try an improve my writing (shorter and snappier - hoorah went the crowd) for some potential freelancing I may be doing.
Basically this is going to be the year of the Homer. I'm fed up of clapping as someone picks up a trophy I know I could have one. There's a new and more competitive Homer in town (but still wanting to enjoy the game and especially the company) who is out to clean up as much silverware as possible and is on a quest for a single figure handicap.
There's a new swing taking shape, I'm about to go into the murky world of sports psychology and they'll be the usual "big money" Saturday sweeps and club competitions to discuss.
I'll also be shedding light on those "I don't believe it" moments that happen in a club (taking 13 on the par 3 first in a medal round - trying to see if your trolley will float - shooting net 58 in round one and net 80 in the afternoon)
I hope it'll be a bit of light hearted reading for you. If you want to take a look then the link is at the bottom of this post and as on here I'd appreciate any feedback. If you hate blogs sorry to have wasted your time with this post.
