While cleaning my driver I noticed a hairline crack on the shaft of the club, the club was purchased from an eBay pro shop last summer and the position of the crack is on a sticker of the original price of the club. I have contacted the Callaway headquarters and they said that a Callaway stockist would be able to replace the shaft for around £70, Do I cut my loses and sellthe club, try to trade it in and get a new driver or what???

To sell the club now it would sell for only around £70 less probably so that's my question is it worth it, I hit it fine but it's nothing that can't be replaced

A blasted crack sounds very painful.

On the OP, if you like the clubhead, why not take the opportunity to test some different shaft options and get the new shaft specced perfectly for your swing? That way you could end up with a better performing driver, and then the £70 quid reshaft would feel like money well spent rather that you resenting it as the cost of a repair?
