Black Footballers Association

...on and off the field unless they have something that can be said in more than 147 characters and that they have thought about for more than the 10 seconds it took them to say it.

There in lies some of the 'problem' much of the verbaling/sledging is pre-meditated... Zinedine Zidane was a 'victim' of it without a doubt in my mind and saw his career end under a cloud not necessarily of his making...

A black footballers association, is a major step in the wrong direction, it wouldn't be long thereafter it being established that we would end up for call for a blacks only league.

We're supposed to be getting rid of segregation in sport and life in general, so why the need for BPFA?

Why? Because the powers that be haven't got the bollocks to act upon those who are blantantly racist, recently those being the serbia national team and closer to home John Terry. The monkey chants coming from the Serbian crowd were appaling and you donlt have to be a lip reader to know that John Terry was not asking for a black currant.

Until the authorities act accordingly, then calls for segregated associations will not go away. Sadly should these associations come to fruition they will never go away and instead of making progress we'll just be returning to the bad old days and racism will be even worse.
