Quick question I've been looking at some mpt5 wedges in a black finish. My only worry is the black finish wearing out etc. Does anybody have wedges in black and how do you did them after a few months or so?
Black finish on mizuno wedges?

If it's the t5raw then it will mark up quite quickly on use. Still a cracking wedge though.

I had the mpt4 wedges in the satin black. 2 rounds and one range session later they looked battered, the third round was in wet conditions and by the time I went to play the 4th round they were rusty, worn and looked 3 or 4 years old.
I did email mizzy and I was told this is to be expected! £200 on two wedges and they looked wrecked in less then a month.
Apparently the coating on the mpt5 was better, great wedges but I'd never have them in a black finish

Ive MP10 wedges and they lost the black finish almost straight away, these are fantastic wedges though and only way Im changing them is when they become illegal (in 2024 i think)
they are mean to be used and i think they look just as good rusty and worn looking
