Biggest golf turn off. (rant)

At my old club I all but gave up on trying to get 9 holes in on my own to practice after work. Every night there were groups playing in one of the several knockout cups that run throughout the summer and every time it was the same excuse 'we are in a match so no need to let you play through'.

Amazing. If anything it should be the opposite! we are in a match so will be playing a little slower/taking a bit more time, so please play through!!

I hate slow play but what I hate the most is people trying to coach you when 1. you don't want a hand and 2. they couldn't hit a ball to save themselves
