Having hardly played a medal all year due to me keep being away when they're on, July is going to be a big month for my new h'cap.

We have a s'ford tomorrow followed by...

14th: Monthly Medal
18th: Midweek Monthly Medal
19th: Mill Ride Ascot Stakes (36 Holes)
27th: Club Champs Day 1
28th: Club Champs Day 2

Will be interesting to see if my h'cap is closer to 6.0 or 7.0 by the end of it.

Good luck with all the comps, the sun is even coming out to play too! Keep up the good play and enjoy.

Just had my month like that and failed miserably 6 qualifiers and 6 0.1's :(.

Good luck Hawkeye, my season proper also finally starts this month only having played 2 qualifiers this year.

Starting tomorrow with the club champs this weekend!

June seems to be our bumper month, with Captains day and Club Championships and a couple of other "board" comps.

Played 6 qualifers in June (5 medals 1 stableford) fairly happy with one .1 up, 3 buffers and 0.6 off from the last 2.

Got a couple of nice silverware comps coming up this month too.

That's some good shooting that Mashie, if I can replicate that I'll be over the moon

I've got 4 qualifiers in the next 3 weeks, including club champs in a fortnight, and if I'm still on the same handicap after those I'll be over the moon!

Every time I think I'm going to get a run at golf something gets in the way, usually work. Have played 4 qualifiers this year I think, 2 buffers and 2 +0.1s (that were WAY over par!!!). Hoping that after next weekend away I can come back and get some practice in ahead of the club champs 27/28 July. Played in my first one last year and made an absolute eejit of myself on Day 1. Was teeing off VERY early Sunday. Vowing I wont let that happen again :)

In the same events as Hawkeye with the exception of the Mill Ride 36 holer. I am just turning up and hoping I have a good day rather than making any plans for a cut. The only thing I want is to get through the qualifying on club championship and survive the cut an be able to play on the Sunday.
