well tomorrow (but for most people reading this, today) i am starting at a new club called heyrose in cheshire costing me £100.80 and no other fees!!
However before that i am rushing into manchester to get some footjoy dryjoys for £50 bargain. i am also getting a TM r7 cgb max 5 wood for £90 and a TM burner 2008 driver for £110.
going to be one expensive day. so nervous

Its obviously a fraction of the proper fees. I get quite envious of how juniors are able to play at some clubs that are out of reach for some adults.

There again If I were going to go back 30 years & re-live my life & were to decide to take up golf when I ought to have given it a proper try I'd have been very greatful of such good fees. & wouldn't question the odd 80 pence or why it was there only that I would be an extremely lucky young chap.

Add an 'l' to fees and that's pretty much how I felt about my girlfriend at the same age.

and to think only last weekend you were skint and looking for ways of making money.............i am in the wrong job.

Pete,

I used to be a member there , but it was just a bit too far away if i fancied 9 holes after work. Nice course, great greens and the 16th is a monster of par three.

enjoy !

I have to agree Homer. I have long stayed out of the mono debate and was pleased when the whole affair died down, but I am getting tired of seeing him responding to every single thread with a post that often adds absolutely nothing to the thread. I know people have mentioned this to him before, and I would have no problem with him posting on the forum if he gave his posts / the threads some more thought. I don't even mind any incorrect spellings / grammar it just pains me to see a single line / word answer to every thread. It just screams of an attempt to raise his post count every single time. I refreshed the lounge page about 10 minutes ago and saw about 20 threads with one new post, 18 of them from Mono and precisely none adding weight to a thread or argument. I haven't been on the forum much recently but came back and to my surprise (well not really I suppose! ) mono has now reached the 1000 post mark, which seems ridiculous. How many of these have been single sentence echos? As you have alluded to elsewhere Homer.

Mono I have no problem with you really, or you being an active member of the forum and I would most probably encouraged it. But in future just think to yourself are all your posts actually necessary / will they actually add something to a thread. If not don't bother. Simples :)
