Not liking the look of either Big Bertha model but as always, I guess you need to hit it to judge it. Not setting my pulse racing compared to others like Titleist Ping etc

I can't believe people actually pay full wack for the latest model drivers. £300+ when you could get the previous model at a fraction of the price & get the same results.

I'm confused by the tech and the naming. It Seems very strange to have a brand like big Bertha attached to two quite different drivers. I wonder why the Alpha is lacking the slider, and why the normal one doesn't have the weight thingy in the middle. Almost seems like two completely different model designs were done at Callaway HQ and they just decided to milk the Big Bertha name by sticking it on both drivers.
Has anybody ever released sister products like this before and had them so different ?

Just read that Callaway have said that they will not discount the Big Bertha range ever !
If that's true then it'll probably come back to haunt them

I don't like the feel off the face or the noise their composite heads make, the yonex seems to be better IMHO. The Fubuki shaft looks good, but once again the yonex shaft is a little bit special ... So all in all I will enjoy what I have.

Best of luck to them in selling a model a year old a full price then in todays world of new releases every few months. Isn't it the retailer that discounts them anyway?

Not that it means much but callaway had the patent on sliding weight tech before both mizuno and TM.
