Bettinardi Putters

I play regularly with a guy who has a limited edition one - £750 is cost him. I have had a go with it, and I will say it is beautifully weighted and balanced. I wouldn’t pay that much, but if the cheaper ones (if you can call £300+ cheap) are anywhere near as good then I wouldn’t rule out buying one.

I was thinking about giving this one a try considering how much cheaper it is used.

I love my Queen B 6.

The only things that come close for feel are Miura's and Gauge Design.

I am known to have more than a few putters but never had a Bettinardi. I do have a milled Ping Anser PLD which has the sweetest of feels. Also love my milled Odyssey Protype #9. As putters are so personal there is never a right or wrong answer but the OP can only go by what feels right in his hands and if he can get to hit some putts with different putters, what works for him

I have a half dozen Hogan putters by Bettinardi. They were all under $75 when I bought them 10+ years ago. Now I'm seeing they are $250+ on ebay. I love them and glad I have the various models and lengths but wouldn't buy one at the price they are now. Golf and brands that convey status is definitely a thing.

An axiom on new clubs (including putters) - they will always work great until bought and paid for!

My advice is get fitted these days and I don’t mean just turn up to a place where a pro is going to try his stock.

LAB and Edel do proper custom fit. I have an Edel and my mate has a lab, both around the £500 mark and we are both very happy. I will say he took some getting used to his LAB and tweaked it by changing the grip. My Edel has been great from out the box.

Well I say that but the pro shop accidentally handed me the wrong one with a different spec and it felt awful. Thankfully I kept a record of what my spec was so I could check which was mine.
