Best/worst (golfing) Christmas presents?

Got a couple of FJ Tops

A pair of Adidas Tour 360 XT SL 2

Plus a load of AG vouchers

Two new wheels for my GoKart trolley and a l/h and r/h Wilson golf glove from my daughter.
A UA base shirt from my son and a Nike one from my wife.
The UA shirts is a regular fit the Nike one is a compression fit which is unfortunate as my slightly older than middle aged body looks rather better hidden that it does when on full display.

HID and I didn't really do presents this year so for the first time in memory no golf related presents. Might treat myself to a few things online or wait until the likes of Silvermere re-open. At least I've dodged any golfing junk from the in-laws like the foam ball cleaning attachment I had a couple of Christmas's ago.

The only thing worse than golf junk is body spray. Look if you want to get me smellies get me antiperspirant least then I can smell nice and not sweat aswell!

Got a one 4 all voucher. Get the annual try to spend them roulette now lol. Most useless card ever made. Very nice thought as it's like money as you can in theory spend it anywhere but it's a rubbish card.. can't be topped up.. has to be the exact money can't split it to pay online so if u want a £50 pair of shoes you can't pay £20 extra to top up the card or whatever

Took me 6 months to spend last time lol this ones ready to re gift to the brother in law for his bday lol can be his problem

Xmas eve pressy to self was a carry bag
Played Xmas Eve and today and course is carry only at the mo

Got a golf courses of the world calendar and a book by Tom Cox called “ bring me the head of Sergio Carcia”

That’s a good book. I’m carrying a half set most of the time at the moment, to no detriment to my score. I need a very lightweight pencil bag really.

I got some decent stuff this year. Golf balls, but I specified which ones I wanted. A scorecard holder which seems quite nice, haven't tried it for size yet. A pair of Kirkland chinos which seem to fit nicely. Also got an Under Armour hoodie that could be worn for golf or anything really. My Uncle got me an emoji headcover but I don't mind it, I might use it for a while. Wouldn't be very water resistant though, at all. Oh and I got a voucher for one golf lesson as well which might be interesting (I've not had a lesson since I was 14 and just starting).

I've had some shockers in the past though. Harrods golf balls (rocks), Emoji golf balls (rocks), House of Commons golf balls (rocks), ball-finding glasses, a three letter golf ball-printing device that didn't even work properly, various golf gloves that were the wrong size. I've had it all. I think via the wife I've managed to get her to stop family members from buying any old golf tat now though, since, as I said, this year was much better. ?

Nothing golfy at all. In fact really not much at all, the wife and I decided not to spend out on stuff just for the sake of it, if we want things we generally get them as and when, so we got ourselves a little present each and that's it ?

the book is brilliant. Guy was a member at my place many years ago, and A few of the guys I play with regularly remember him. Really weird!

A FJ Hlv2 waterproof jacket from Mrs SILH (reqd as old one had lost its waterproofness); and bought myself a new brolly (as previous broken), and a couple of golf paperback books (one by Mark Frost, one by Butch Harmon). Daughters b/f has me booked into Ping fitting day in Feb ( if it happens) for new driver and new irons...(a belated birthday/additional Christmas present from mrs), and with any luck getting a nice discounted price from him as a chrissy present from him.. ?

This year I received

bag of tees (always useful)
4 Volvik “Thor” golf balls - probably keep rather than play
some money towards new clubs (planning on changing to JPX 921 in January)
a round on a UK top 100 course of my choice. Just need to work out which one now.

First year in about 10 years that I haven’t received a single golf related present. Pretty happy with that, trying to de-clutter and don’t want more “stuff”.
