hi guys, crappy weathers coming, well here in northern Ireland its just going to get worse as its been here for a while.

Anyways im in the market for a good set of wet gear, ive spend a good deal of money on my clubs which i have seen the benefit so thought i might do the same for wet gear, i currently have a dunlop wet suit but the trousers are wayyyy to warm, im usually sweating like mad after 2 holes even in the frost, so something with good breath ability etc....

thanks :D

I took out the 2nd mortgage and got GG. Still got my first GG jacket, nearly 5 years old, and it still looks nearly new. Replaced my FJ trousers 18mths ago with GG - same as the jacket, brilliant and as good as new. Best I've had and wouldn't hesitate to sell the wife when I need some more.

Galvin Green or Cross would get my vote.

Neitherupted will break the bank if you know how to shop and get a bargain.

Haha, that's devotion :p

HID took out a second mortgage last week for a new of GG's for my birthday, "ardell" pull over top, " alf" trousers . £330. FFS.
Very nice worn them once.lifetime guarantee, which the pro has decided is 8 years.

I would always go for GG but hat is finance permitting. I am just gutted I did not bite the bullet the other week at Woodhall when they had them on offer. 40% off........ so that lovely £300 jacket was £180 and the trouser £120 down from £200. So that is the complete suit for the price of the jacket at normal price. I might just go for a drive back up there and treat myself to some for the winter..........

.....but knowing my luck they have sold out or stopped the offer now......:(

Just about to take a plunge on the Oakley Defend rainsuit, the one that Mcilroy was wearing at The Open I think.

I can't comment on it or recommend it, but i've used GG and its too expensive and makes me reluctant to look for balls in the s**t, sunice lasted about 30 seconds as I bought a suit from them as a summer use outfit and i'm bored of the designs footjoy bring out.

So yeah, Oakley this time.

Ash!!

whatever you buy, look after it.
DON'T chuck them in machine with an Ariel tablet as detergent will strip the waterproofing.
Use soap solution or better still a specialist washing product.
