Is there such a thing?

Currently I have a Titleist AP1 Pitching Wedge, and a Vokey 58 degree wedge.

I've seen some people on here with a 46/54/60 combo.

Is it a case of personal preference, or are there benefits to having a specific setup?

Cheers

I have AP2 wedge and 54, 56 and 58 Vokeys wedges

The 56 has 14* of bounce as a sand iron and I mainly use the 58 for anything round the green.

I currently have 46, 56, 60 and I think the gap between the pitch and sand does cost me shots.

Guns,
Go right down the grip of your PW and you have your gap wedge between that and the SW......Simples ;)

me not having a 3 wood:

47,52,56,60

Am looking for a new 52 and 56... Will probably bend the 52 to 51 and 56 to 55... to be precise (oh well there's a engineering student for you)...

I carry 48, 52, 56, 60 and 64 because I am utterly incapable of varying the speed of my swing with my short clubs. Neither can I grip down the shaft on them - it makes me come out in hives.

I am also trying to find a 46 degree wedge to replace my 9 iron and live in hope that one of the big wedge manufacturers will see fit to look at the 68 degree wedge. I really need one for those 30 yard near vertical flop shots.

I am also worried about the bounce angle and lie of all these clubs as I am sure it is drastically affecting my handicap.

Cheers,

Snelly. :D

snelly can i ask why you need a 46* to replace your 9i, my PW is 46* in my stock irons, so surely yours 9i will be around this being a slightly older model.

You can ask yes but I don't have an answer. In reality, I have no idea as to the specific loft of any of my clubs apart from the ones that have it stamped on them.

And I don't really carry lots of wedges...
