Simple question really-

Where near Glasgow / Lanarkshire has the best short game area?

My ideal place would have:

-Hitting off grass
-Couple of putting greens
-Chipping areas
-Short game (100 yard) targets

Thanks!

not west coast exactly but Gleneagles has all of the above, apart from that it's been St Andrews.

Will be interested myself of anywhere else more local

Last time I was there world of golf in Clydebank had a decent set up. Don't know about hitting off grass for the long shots though. Maybe someone will be able to give you a more recent update

Unfortunately this is now a crazy golf theme park for kids, i take it the owners get a better return from that than a short game area.

Do you mean clubs with these facilities?
If so Eastwood ticks all the boxes.
If you mean somewhere you can rock up to, pay a few quid and use the facilities, I don't know.

Turnberry is superb but at a price.

Last time I was at Inverclyde [3-4 years ago] it was pretty rough.

Pulled its socks up. Good facility and if your lucky you might meet Bob or if your really really lucky you'll stand hitting balls beside Padraig and Paul while Bob is teaching them like happened to me about 8 years ago.
